Stocking Cap

Ok....so my hat started out with the intent to be a floppy hat...But...dirrections weren't correct.  So instead...it will be altered to be a stocking cap for my niece (Curry).  I love working with yarn.  If the project isn't going the way you like you can alter things to make the project into something else usefull. 

The frustration of patterns.  I'm not sure if you all are aware of Errata....you can go to any company that you have puchased a pattern from and find posting of patterns with errors.  Many times people will work through the pattern and fix the problem and send it to the company.  I'm sorry that you have to sometimes do this...but we are human and errors happen. 

The next time you have an issue with the pattern stop by the shop and I will help you look online for possible corrections to your patterns. 

It was a busy day at Calla Lily...I love that people come down and enjoy just sitting and knitting that is why we have the space in the back.  It's just a nice break from the working world to come in and just chill for a little while.  Catch your breath and go back to work.  So please feel free to come on in!

Blogging World

Hello all....I am very new to the world of blogging.  Please be patient with me.  We will see how well I can keep up with what's going on in the knitting world.  I would love to share many new ideas with all of you.  I will try to look new ideas up and get them onto this page.  Among all the chores I have...lets add another thing to the list.  Much is happening with me.  First off....thank you Brett for guiding me into this new world of communication.  Brett is also going to update my website...we would like a much classier look....so I have released this to my very good friend to bring me into another dimension of art.
