Lisa Ellis Designs

I wanted to give you a picture of Lisa Ellis...I'm sorry I am unable to do this.  I do hope however you will put this on your calendar.....Save the Date!!!

I am just finalizing my flight plans from Seattle, WA to Calla Lily yarns - for a full day of classes.
I’ll be teaching The Jogless striped hat, Baltic Trims and Braids and Improve Your Look - June 8th (Wednesday).
The classes will be full of new techniques and tricks of the trade.
I have 2 booklets with Leisure Arts and I am a contributing designer to half a dozen other books and magazines. My first knitting article comes out this Fall in a popular knitting magazine.
I hope to see you this June - and be prepared to learn some great new techniques!

And now for a little advise for winter:

Ice-proof your windows with vinegar!  Expecting a frost? Just fill a spray bottle with three parts vinegar to one part water & spray it on all your windows at night.  In the mornin, they'll be clear of icy mess.  Vinegar contains acetic acid, which raises the melting point of water---preventing water from freezing!

Prevent car doors from freezing shut with cooking spray!  Spray cooking oil on the rubber seals around car door & rub it in with a paper towel. The cooking spray prevents water from melting into the rubber.

De-ice your lock in seconds with hand sanitizer!  Just put hand sanitizer gel on the key & the lock-- problems solved.

Thank you Joann!!!
